The
Den Haag Trip
On the
day of Good Friday (9/4/2004) I visited our old neighbours
from Dakshinayan, Prasantakaku and Mitakakima, who are presently staying in
Den Haag, which is about half an hours journey by train from Amsterdam. They have two wonderful kids,
Tutul and Mitul, who are my mother's favourites, and mine too. They really
miss their 'Bomma'. They live in a very quiet locality of Den Haag near the
Lan Van NOI station. After lots of gossip, and sumptuous lunch consisting of
chicken, mutton, dal, posto... I was feeling really sleepy and went off to
the bedroom to catch up on my forty winks.. In the evening, we went to a park
and from there, to the Scheveningen beach.. After another filling dose of
luchi and chicken for dinner I left for Amsterdam.. It was a very nice trip and I
would like to go back there again... maybe the next time with 'Bomma'.
